X-Brace Technology

Fox pools use some of the same technology used in building bridges, tall buildings, water towers and other structures that require high strength due to high stresses. Your swimming pool holds thousands of gallons of water while holding back thousands of pounds of earth. In order to ensure structural integrity over many years it’s important that your pool walls will remain intact regardless of external forces. With the Fox X-Brace technology you get just that. Patented by Fox, the X-Brace structure provides 100% support for your pool walls without concern for internal or external pressures.

X-Brace Details

• Pool panels are supported every 4 feet by the patented Fox X-Brace
• The X-Braces are bolted to panels using heavy duty corrosion resistant bolts
• Steel rods and hooks anchor the X-Brace and the pool wall to the ground
• A concrete footer or foundation is poured around the perimeter of the pool
• Reinforcing rods and X-Braces are now consolidated into a permanent foundation
• Pool can be backfilled with or without water
• More reinforcing rod is added to connect the top of the X-braces to the deck structure
• The concrete deck encapsulates the X-braces and reinforcing rod to form a unitary structure
• Backfill settles over time forming a thermal barrier between the deck and the ground
• Frost upheaval is eliminated

Foxite II Coping

Our Foxite II coping tops off your pool wall while it serves multiple purposes. Foxite II is an extruded polyvinylchloride (PVC) coping that has specially designed channels to capture the top of your Fox liner. The coping also forms the inside perimeter of the pool deck, creating a smooth transition between the concrete and the pool. Because it’s made of flexible PVC, the Foxite II coping is easily shaped to fit the contours of your Fox pool with minimal joints. And Foxite II won’t dent like the aluminum coping used by some competitors.

Foxite II comes in either standard white or optional Designer Gray to help you create that custom look for your pool. Gray accessories like stairs, Fox spas, Swimouts, Buddy Seats and rails are available to compliment the Designer Gray coping. You can also get either color in cantilever design.

Fox In-Pool Stair

The New Fox In-pool stairs and benches are now available to give you that seamless exterior look many homeowners are looking for in their pool. In addition to providing a seamless perimeter, the in-pool features take up less room in the yard allowing the Fox pool to fit into tighter locations.

Designed specifically for Fox pools, the Fox In-pool Stair is an integral part of the venerable Fox pool wall system. The In-pool stair is made from durable thermoplastic and is designed to last many years. Since it forms an integral part of the Fox pool wall it also includes the patented Fox X-brace system that is unmatched for structural integrity and durability.

Thermoplastic provides unique properties that can’t be matched by vinyl covered steel steps used by some competitors. With the Fox in-pool features you have a tough, long lasting surface designed for many years of enjoyment.

Fox In-pool stairs are available in a radius design to compliment most Fox freeform pools.

Add a tasteful elegance to your Fox pool with Designer Gray accessories. Pools have traditionally only been available with all white trim and stainless steel handrails. Now Fox offers you Designer Gray trim and accessories. Designer Gray provides subtle custom coloration to your pool trim and all accessories including stairs, WaterFall Spa and Buddy Seat lounge. You can even get Gray handrails.Regardless of the Fox pool you choose for your home, just say, Designer Gray and it’s available.
