Associations and Awards
Central Jersey Pools, Patio & More supports local community activities such as the Rotary Club, Exchange Club, Centra State Hospital, Greater Monmouth County YMCA, local school teams, and local sports programs. Steven Metz is a past trustee for the Brookdale Community College Foundation, a past trustee of the Western Monmouth Chamber of Commerce and an active counselor for the Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE) of the Small Business Association. Central Jersey Pools, Patio & More is a member of the Western Monmouth County Chamber of Commerce and the Better Business Bureau of Central Jersey.
In addition to local organizations, Central Jersey Pools, Patio & More is active in the following national associations and trade organizations:
- The Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP)- Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More joined this leading Pool & Spa Association in 1964. All of our pools are built to conform to the strict safety standards developed by this organization. We have been active in both local and national chapters of the organization for almost forty years.
- NESPA Metro NY/NJ Chapter - This regional council is responsible for bringing the national programs to the local members. Steven and Martin Metz are both Past Presidents of the Metro Chapter of APSP. Martin is a Past President of NESPA and Steven is the current Vice President.
- National Retailers Council - This council goal is to promote professionalism and growth in the retail sector of the pool and spa industry. Both Martin Metz and Steven Metz have served chairmen of the National Council Casual Furniture Retailer's Association--Martin Metz and Steven Metz have both served as members of the board of directors and as past Chairmen of this council.
- Pool Pro Alliance - Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More is a Pool Pro Pool builder and is endorsed by the alliance as a professional pool builder.
- Aquatech Corporation- Central Jersey Pools, Patio, & More is a member of the Aquatech Corporation, an organization of the nation's best individual pool companies. Membership is by invitation only and all members must pass stringent qualifications to be accepted.
