Trouble Sleeping? Your Hot Tub Can Help!
Hop in the hot tub for up to 20 minutes up to two hours before you hit the hay...
If you’re like many people, you have a hard time falling asleep at night. It’s probably because you have so much on your mind! If you have a hot tub, use it to help get ready for bed. Because your body temperature goes down at night about two hours before sleep, it can be difficult to fall asleep until you have raised your body temperature to a more comfortable level. Hop in the hot tub for up to 20 minutes up to two hours before you hit the hay, which is more likely to lead to a deeper sleep. Listen to soothing music while you take your soak.
Other ways to fall asleep more quickly include:
- Refraining from caffeine
- Turning down the temperature in the house (most people sleep better in cool environments)
- Turning off that TV!
- Using room darkening shades
- Sleeping in a quiet room
Call Central Jersey Pools if you need any help with your hot tub, from maintenance to repairs.
